The latest Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite is part of Samsung’s new differentiated product offering strategy that makes available smartphones at various price points, ranging from the uber-premium foldable smartphones, to the premium flagship smartphones and their ‘Lite’ counterpoints. The new Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite is an aggressive move by Samsung to bring all of the flagship essentials from the Note 10 series to more affordable pricepoints. This is part of Samsung’s strategy to offer more choice for buyers in a price conscious market, with the purpose of potentially ramping-up Samsung’s sales. And, it is a brilliant move, no doubt.

The Galaxy Note10 Lite brings the power of the S Pen to beyond the enterprise boardroom to creative millennials everywhere who aspire the flagship, but at a more affordable price.

Samsung Note10 Lite

In reaching the affordable pricepoint, Samsung did have to make some compromises, such as the Full HD+ display instead of QHD, and lack of some S Pen gestures, yet for the target audience, these omissions will not be much of a sorepoint.

The new Note10 Lite embraces that Samsung design and look. At the core of the Note10 Lite is a Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC, coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the variant. In terms of the storage, the device gets 128GB of allocation which is expandable up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.

The Galaxy Note10 Lite comes with a wide 6.7-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity-O display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite performs pretty well

All the Camera Essentials

The Galaxy Note10 Lite brings a powerful flagship camera set-up, including the Dual Pixel OIS (Optical Image Specialization) 12MP wide camera, Ultra-Wide Angle 12 MP and a 12 MP telephoto lens. The camera system also comes with a Super Steady mode, while the Live Focus mode adds depth-of-field adjustments enabling one to blur the background to focus and lock the subject. On the front, the Note10 Lite sports a 32 MP front camera that turns selfies into self-portraits.

The camera performance is flagship grade, in bright as well as low-light conditions, capturing vivid and sharp details.

Sleek and Powerful Performance

The Galaxy Note10 Lite is powered by a large 4500mAh battery that comes with super-fast charging, via its 25W fast charging support. The smartphone performs pretty effectively and efficiently for creativity, gaming as well as other tasks.

The Note10 Lite’s battery lasts long and despite heavy usage, lasted for the day. The super-fast charging packs it with all the juice under an hour for the entire day.

The Power of S Pen

Coming to the iconic and intelligent S Pen, it retains its magic and unleashes productivity and creativity to the max. Whether it be enabling users to personalize photos and videos with dynamic drawings, or converts handwritten notes to digital text, the S Pen allows users to click pictures, navigate through presentations and even edit videos like a pro, all with a simple click.

In Conclusion

The Note10 Lite packs a strong camera system, flagship-grade design, with decent software and hardware, alongwith an array of interesting features. However, all said, the S Pen is the killer feature of the Note10 Lite. At the affordable premium  segment that it is offered at, this makes the Note10 Lite a powerful contender. In doing so, it pits it against the likes of OnePlus which have ruled the aspirational premium smartphone segment for long.
